Thursday morning was circuits with Gill. I tried to run on Wednesday night to see if I could do our usual 5 mile run together, but my leg gave in, so the other option for us was circuits.
This would be Gill’s first time doing Lorn’s circuits with me and she was in for a tough workout. 🙂
The workout consisted of:
10 minute warm up on the treadmill (felt a slight niggle in my knee at 8 minutes) then
10 exercises, 30 seconds work, 15 seconds rest, 4 repeats of each exercise: 30 minutes.
I was using 6kg weights, Gill was using 5kg weights, we used the Tabata HIIT
training app as usual.
Here are the 10 exercises we did:
JUMPING JACKS
SQUAT JUMPS
PRESS UPS
DOUBLE ARM SWING
SPRINTS
RUSSIAN TWIST
ROMANIAN DEADLIFT
DOUBLE ARM ROW
WOOD CHOPPER
MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
We ended the workout dripping with sweat, so we must have worked pretty hard.
