Challenge: Run in the rain with me!

I’d like you to run in the rain with me. 🙂

On Thursday (1st August), it’s due to pour down across Scotland and the UK and I’d like you to run in the rain with me. I say run with me, but I don’t mean physically run with me… Read on if you’re interested in taking up this challenge:

On Thursday weather warnings will be out for heavy rain and Thunderstorms across Scotland and the UK, and I’d love it if you would take the opportunity, at some point on Thursday to go out for a run in the POURING rain!

Wherever you are, whatever time suits you, get your gear on, and get out for a fun run in the rain!  I’ll be out and I’ll be wearing shorts and a vest, a waterproof gillet and a cap (to keep the rain out of my eyes).

Run on your own or with friends (for more of laugh!). Take your time, feel the rain and get soaked through. Run though the puddles and feel your trainers and socks fill up with water.

Try not to be hit by lightening though, and if you do, please don’t say I told you to get out and get hit by lightening! 😉

I’ve written about running in the rain before, and I think it is truly one of the most refreshing experiences running can bring.

So, who’s going to join me in doing a run in the rain on Thursday? Comment below or on my Lorn Pearson Trains Facebook page. 🙂

(If you do join me in doing a run, it’d be great if you could comment below, or post what you did on my Facebook page).

Running in torrential rain is ideal for cleansing the soul. I will definitely be running with you (in Linlithgow)
