I try to use swimming as cross training to give myself a bit of a break from running. I have 3 sets of 10-12 sessions of varied distances I complete:
Each time I swim, I’ll do a swim session, then the next time I’ll move onto the next swim session in the set. (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10). Then I’ll start the set again. I time each session, so that I’m able to compare my times and hopefully see improvement.
