A challenge that I set myself in 2012 was to be able to run a 10k, the only goal I set for myself was to ‘run’ the whole way. I achieved my goal on the 2nd September 2012 when I completed the Great Scottish Run (10k) with a time of 1 hour and 1 minute.

Lorn was recommended to me as a running coach, once I read a bit more about Lorn and her achievements I knew Lorn was the sort of person who could motivate, inspire and help me achieve my goal. Lorn was instrumental in helping me become a runner, she gave me confidence which allowed me to believe I could run and complete a 10k, then she gave me the tools which helped me understand the concept of running and how I could use these tools to push my body physically to run a 10k and beyond.

The difference Lorn’s coaching gave myself was not only achieving my goal but thoroughly enjoying the journey and running experience. It has given me the knowledge and skills to continue running and aim for bigger challenges in 2013! I would definitely recommend Lorn to anyone who is thinking about getting some personal training, she is 100% committed and her own knowledge and experience is exceptional.

“Lorn is a very motivational and educational running coach. I have been training with Lorn for a couple of months now and have noticed huge improvements in my fitness levels and running technique. I am currently training for a half marathon and Lorn’s advice and expertise has been essential in helping me work towards my goal. I would definitely recommend Lorn to any runners out there looking to improve or anyone looking to take up running.”
