West Highland Way April 2012

West Highland WayWest Highland Way signIn April 2012, we walked the 96miles that is the West Highland Way!

We walked the WHW in 5 days leaving Milngavie on Tuesday 3rd April and and got to Fort William on Saturday 8th April.

The weather was ok, typical Scotland, we started off in driving snow, and we got nearly everything, wind, rain, sun.  Looking back about 4 out of the 5 days were good or ok. 🙂

Just stumbled on your blog…good luck with the WHW. I’m setting off to do it on Tuesday April 3rd too, but planning to get to Rowardennan first night (I’m running/walking) !

Im sure you’ll do that no bother. I’ve run those stretches in the last few months and you should be able to cover to rowardennan in your first day ok. Have fun. Hope the weather is good!!!
