Kaizen Runners are nearly at 5k!!

I’m really pleased with and proud of our Kaizen Runners. 🙂 Having started 6 weeks ago, they’ve come a long way to now be able to run 5k non stop!

I’ve tried to get them to be positive and believe in themselves and tried to help advise them as much as I can to get them to be comfortable running at their own pace.

A lot of them have bought new trainers and gear and they’ve all put a lot of hard work and effort in to get to where they are now. They’re now at the stage where I (and them hopefully) would safely call them ‘runners’, Kaizen Runners at that! Most of them have run 5k non stop and if they haven’t, they’re up for running it on Sunday.

We’ll be starting at the North side of the Squiggly Bridge on Sunday, just after 10:35am. So if you’d like to come along and cheer them on, please do. The first of them should be finishing after about 11:10am.

The thing I’m really pleased about is that the majority of our Kaizen Runners want to go into train for 10k. 🙂

If you know anyone who’s interested, please pass on this link. We start on Tuesday 24th at 18:15, twice a week also on a Sunday morning at 10:30am. All we ask is that you can run non stop for 30 minutes and you can commit to 3 training runs a week (choose to do 1 or 2 days coached).
