Wk51 into Wks52 & 53

Last week I got a good amount of exercise in, 3 runs, 3 cycles, 3 physio sessions, a Strength session and a few walks. By Friday I took a good rest day I needed, mostly due to not getting good sleeps, so I’ll work on that this week.



Here’s what I did anyway… alternating run days with bike and physio days. 
Wk51 – 14 December
Mon: 55 mins indoor bike / 35 min physio
Tue: 57 mins – 5×9:1 run walk = 6.2M
Wed: 45 mins indoor bike / 35 min physio
Thu: 45 mins – 5×9:1 run walk = 5.5M
Fri: Rest / 0.7M walk
Sat: 30 min physio
Sun: 48 mins 3×12:1 run walk = 5M / 1hr bike – 10M outdoor / 30 min Strength

I did quite a lot of exercise today, so hopefully that will have tired me out ready for a good sleep tonight. Saturday was fun, out for a walk, where we ended up chasing rainbows for some fun.

Last week I did a good couple of apple fitness workouts… a 45 minute bike session and a 30 min Strength session. It’s great, and I’m looking forward to using it more.

Here are my mileage totals… I should make 2020 miles, just not sure if the mix of it:

Walking (540) = 20.5 to go (10.5 to go)
519.5 miles walked by 20 Dec

Cycling (600) = 37.5 to go (47.5 = for 610)
572.5 cycled by 20 Dec

Running (880) = 27.6 to go
852.4 run by 20 Dec

Now here’s the plan for the next fortnight to close off the rest of the year.

Wk52 – 21 December
Mon: 55 mins – 4×12:2 run walk
Tue: 45 mins spin bike / 35 min physio
Wed: 50 mins – 3×15:2 run walk
Thu: 45 mins spin bike / 35 min physio
Fri: Rest / 4M walk
Sat: 50 mins – 3×15:2 run walk
Sun: 1hr indoor bike / 35 min physio

Wk53 – 28 December
Mon: 45 mins spin bike / 35 min physio
Tue: 65 mins – 3×20:2 run walk
Wed: 45 mins spin bike / 35 min physio
Thu: remainder non stop run
Fri: Rest / 4M walk
Sat: 50 mins – non stop run
Sun: 1hr indoor bike / 35 min physio

I’m building my running up, I’m nearly at running nonstop, but there’s something still not quite right where I think I still need to do physio exercises and build the running up slowly. I’m at running 12 mins with 1 min walking x 3… so I’m getting there. I’ll hopefully be running non stop in / by the start of 2021.

Roll on Christmas for a wee bit of time off where we’ll be out walking a bit more, and I’ll be doing the training as above.
