On Thursday after the morning run, in the evening, my leg didn’t feel great, but it’s ok now. So I built up the run on Sunday morning, 10 x 4 min running and 1 min walking – 57 mins / 5M and I felt fine. That was even after an early morning cycle – 15 miles / 76 mins.
I woke at about 6am on Sunday – body clock probably… and instead of tossing and turning, I decided I’d get up and go for a cycle before the day started. I’d arranged to run with Eilidh at 9am, but I had plenty time before she came over (I left just after 7, and jt was dark most of the way).
I’ve decided that the cold is horrible… I long for some heat, some sunshine and a holiday abroad. I’ll just need to bear with it all and hope we get away at some point. Bl@@dy covid and bl@@dy brexit. 😩😡
This last week I also got the garagym ready for Apple Fitness + launching on Monday 14th. I ended up getting a good deal on a mesh WiFi system that works really well… then I got an Apple TV (4th gen) from John Lewis … so I’ll be able to cast / stream onto it.. and also do the Apple workouts.
It’s the aluminium case version, in excellent condition, and comes with the original box and power cable, along with a black strap. Would do a good we Christmas present for someone. I was thinking £140, but do email me if you’re interested. 🙂
I might mix it about and try some Apple fitness workouts, but I’ll try to make a focus to get my physio x3-4 done and my x3 run walks a week. I’m itching to get running on stop, but I know the walk breaks will be worth it and they’re building everything up.
I might get to about 65 or 70 miles this month if I’m lucky, about another 8 runs… which might be about 870 or 880 miles running for the year. Not bad for having about 3-4 months off running with the injury.
If the weather is ok one day I might pop
out on my bike again, but we’ll see. Here’s me on it in a reflection in the new transport museum.
I hope you have a good end to the year… I’ll be quite glad to see the back of 2020, which I’m sure many others will be too.
