That’s my training for the virgin London marathon complete! After a bit of flu at the end of January, I started my training for it properly, with 11 weeks ago around the 8th February.
All of my runs are now complete and I’m feeling good. 🙂
Today I did an easy 5.1 mile run before work, nice and steady, no niggles (touch wood) and I’m feeling ready for the next few days travelling, and for the marathon.
In this round of training, in 11 weeks, I ran as follows:
– 331 miles
– 55:35 hours:mins
– 44 times
– 28,000 calories burned (around 120 mars bars) 😉
– about ten long runs including – 12, 14, 18, 10, 20, 22, 19, 20.2, 16 – average weekly mileage 32.5 miles
– plenty rest days.
And overnight the amount I’ve raised went up to an amazing £690! 😀 I’m very grateful to everyone who’s sponsored me.
Now I just need to get through two more days at work, get to London then the big day will be here before I know it! 🙂
