Today, my lunchtime run brought my running total to just over 1,000 miles. 🙂 http://connect.garmin.com/activity/928675405
At the start of the year, I set myself a goal (on Garmin) to run 2015km, or 1,252 miles this year.
With just over three quarters of the year gone, I’m just ahead of target with 80% of my goal, or just over 1,005 miles run. 🙂
Here’s what I’ve done weekly (between 6 and 51 miles per week, 2-3 weeks of no running in May – on holiday – then between 1 run a week and up to 8 runs a week):
Half marathon training at the start of the year.
Thunder run 24 training up to the end of July, and marathon training up to the end of September. And recovery after the marathon before the Southside 6 on the 1st November.
148 runs, just over 1,000 miles running, an average distance of about 7 miles for each run. 🙂
