If you follow my Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/lornpearsontrains you’ll maybe see that Tuesday 22nd set ember would have been my Granny’s one hundredth birthday!

Each year, I drop an elephant in memory of her. Usually I don’t make it a special date, I just drop one when in somewhere different, but tomorrow is different.

Some people suggested I ‘drop’ an elephant in Queens Park, and since it’s on one of my regular run routes, and I like to fly my kite there, I thought it’d be a good choice.

Tomorrow morning (tues 22nd), before the sun comes up, I’m going to leave to run to Queens Park and leave this little hand made elephant in the park.

My talented friend Sally from http://www.soulsilver.co.uk made me this glass elephant especially for it, and it arrived today. He’ll have a nice view over Glasgow and the West. (Have a look on her page, look at what other cool stuff she does / sells).

I’ll maybe drop him around the flag pole area, I’ll see what happens when I get there. I’ll stop and take some time out, and watch the sun rise on my day. 🙂

You can read more about why I drop an elephant every year, in memory of my Granny, here: https://lornpearsontrains.co.uk/2014/10/13/1-elephant-dropped-2-more-bought/

And you can read more about her here:

All is well. 🙂
