Daily walks

More often than not, I walk to work.

I’m very lucky, in that my commute to work is a mere 10 minute walk, but even then, if I don’t get my daily 20 minute walk in (to and from work) – I miss it.

Today I was going to Braehead straight after work for an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar, and whilst I did train this morning, I still missed my walk.

I took my car to work today, and as a result, I only got around 2000 nike fuel pints instead of around the 3000 I usually get on a strength day with a walk to work

I like how walking to work it sets me up for the day and how walking home helps me to wind down too. I like it even if it’s raining. Umbrella and warmly wrapped up. That does.

Tomorrow I have a haircut right after work, so I have to take my car AGAIN! Good thing I’m going a run at lunchtime tomorrow, or I think I might just go crazy. 😉

Who knows how I used to do survive when I had a 30 minute commute in my car! I much prefer a nice wee walk to start and end my day.
