Wow. I’m lucky. 9.5 hours sleep last night whilst Santa did his thing.
We woke up and opened the presents in our stockings and a few presents from other people.
I got a voucher for a posh Thai restaurant in town from my boss. And my cheeky brother Ewen got me ONE American dollar (he gave Fit Girl $79 for our holidays in May)… and my other brother got me a box of thorntons, better get running to burn them off.
And we got a holiday fund jar a gift card and some coasters with one of my favourite quotes on it:
> Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.
After the stockings and some presents we had breakfast, meat and poached eggs (done to perfection!).
Then we opened the rest of our haul. So much stuff including new trainers, and new water pack (better sign up for a marathon now), purple nike knee length shorts, a running skort, chocolate including mini mars bars and peanut butter chocs, a fleece, pj trousers, a diffuser, a foot stool for my chair, 3 books, more clothes, 4 pairs of toe socks and much much more!
And here’s a wee gift I got Fit Girl, just to remind her that she’s a star. 🙂
Later on will be a walk, then dinner and some fun. 🙂
Hope you’re having a good day. Merry Christmas, and thanks for reading / visiting my blog in 2014 and before.
