Plenty of running and plenty of rest made up last week, plus some snotters. A slightly sore throat on Tuesday, led to sniffles and sneezes through the week, and ended up with me buying plenty cold pills from super drug, buy one get one half price:
I’ve not been feeling too bad, just a bit snottery. Managed to get a good gym workout in on Saturday followed by an afternoon nap.
Anyway, here’s what I did last week:
The runs have perhaps helped my cold I think, natural decongestant / endorphins = good stuff. Now the pills should help, paracetamol, phenylephrine and caffeine thank you very much, plus plenty water etc.
I lacked today, looking forward to some time out. Not much exercise except for walking and cycling / sight seeing. We’ll be active as Fit a Girl can’t sit still… and we’ll want to see as much as we can out there. I’m really liking forward to it.
Asda and Jasper are of course coming with us on our adventures, and here’s a little silver elephant I bought whilst in Arran. I’ll be dropping him somewhere in memory of Norma, whose funeral I went to in June, and a few thoughts will no doubt go my granny’s way when I drop it.
Now last thing before I go, sorry if you’re squeamish or don’t like feet, but I’ve been thinking about this a for a while. When I was away at my friends wedding, the day after I was in my friends Claire’s room talking about the day before and what was to come.
No she didn’t. She isn’t a runner. He feet were just normal and flat. She said my feet were boney and muscley…lol. Have you got runners muscles in your feet?
Ha ha. The things I think about. 😉
