Feeling it…

This will be my 4th week of not feeling quite right. My cough is nearly cleared, but my throat is still a little sore. I’m hoping by next week I’ll be back to normal.

This week was meant to be a run on Monday – work got in the way.

Rest yesterday, with just over 4 miles walking.

Today was meant to be an early morning run with Gill, but she didn’t sleep well and it prompted me to take advantage and have a wee lie in today.

Now I’m really starting to feel it (not exercising much). Yesterday at work my head was all over the place, finding it hard to focus on one thing and do it. I know what it is, it’s lack of exercise, so I need to get back to it! It’s my therapy!

The good thing is I’m on top of my food. One week tracking in my fitness pal has led to me eating very well, and my weight and body fat going in the right direction.

You can do it with just food, but when you exercise too, you can eat more and you tend to feel better. 🙂

So here’s the plan for the rest of the week:

Wed PM: need to go see the flat (rest)
Thu AM: 5M run PM: Pack
Fri AM: 6M run
Sat: Rest and Hen day / night
Sun: Rest / Travel

Then next week I’ll see how I am but I hope to run, do strength and swim.

I’m up early to get my bridesmaid dress finally fitted, maybe trying to be a girl is taking it out of me too? 😉
