Tomorrow I’m running with my good ol’ marathon training buddy Julie Ann – for 20 miles, out at Houston.
(We trained for our first marathon, Lochaber together back in 2011, and I love run with her – good chat).
Anyway, it’s a beautiful day today, sun splitting the skies. It’s just a pity it’s all going to change for tomorrow’s long run.
We start at 8, for 20 miles. I’m really looking forward to it, even in the rain!
Ps: good luck to all those running the a London Marathon this weekend including, Mandy, Janice and Cris!
To quote Cris:
‘If you want to run the best marathon of your life, you need to push hard. Of course it’s horrible, who said it was easy!? Push through that feeling for 5 minutes and the body will adjust.’
