Since the start of the year I’ve kind of been running on autopilot… with my boss off, and work to be done, I’ve clocked up quite a few extra hours in that job, and have kept my swimming teaching and running coaching ticking over too.
Now that my boss is back I don’t need to step into my her shoes anymore, it’s about time I relaxed a bit and remembered how to do just my job.
I’m off work today, and I’m making it my rest day as I ran long on Thursday. And the next time I’m working again is swimming teaching at 3pm on Sunday. So today and tomorrow I’m going to see if I can relax and do not a lot.
Read a book, go for a coffee and lunch. Des cake the coffee maker. 😉 Go shopping. Time out. Try and turn my brain off a bit and give it a rest.
Fit Girl has managed to pull a muscle in her neck, so that should slow her down a bit (so I won’t need to be running around with her like we usually are). It usually takes about 3-4 days to get better so that’ll be her out til tues at least.
