Glasgow 2014 Marathon Route revealed

Today the Glasgow 2014 marathon route was revealed.

Following parts of the old Great Scottish Half marathon route, it starts and finishes in Glasgow Green and looks like a good route. 🙂  Except for the fact it will be a double loop!

I much prefer the Glasgow Marathon route I did in September 2013.  😉

Now, I wonder if they’ll open the route up to a full marathon for the people of Glasgow sometime in the next few years? That would be a great thing, and leave a true legacy for people from all over the world to enjoy. 😉

    It will appeal greatly to all the ex-pats who immigrated in the 80’s and 90’s and have sworn off the fags ,drink and fish suppers and picked up running as their new vice ; )
