Next steps: a little help from Mr Muscle

I’ve had strength training as part of my workout routine for quite a few years now. Over the years I’ve progressed my knowledge and my workouts from high reps, low weights on machines, to low reps, heavy weights and free weights.

Now it’s time to take it to the next level.

I’ve enlisted the help if someone who I’ll call ‘Mr Muscle’. An expert who is hopefully going to help me with my lifting, my form and hopefully help me achieve my goals.

I met with Mr Muscle today and we talked about changing my nutrition slightly to promote more fat burn, and hopefully more muscle build, with the aim to reduce my body fat to around 18%, and to get STRONG.

First step is to be a little more clever about what I eat, when. Perhaps paying more attention to what and how much I’m eating. And also mix up my strength training to get the best out of it.

Food wise, I’ll be being a little more restrictive: no or less chocolate and crap processed foods. Replacing them with other healthier options.

There’s more detail to come, but this is the start of my 12 week plan to get strong and lean. I’m looking forward to working with Mr Muscle!
