Are you worried what other people think about you?
Are you worried that people might think you have a:
Or do you think your:
Skin is too pale?
Skin is too freckly?
Feet are too big?
Feet are ugly?
Hair is a mess?
your life is different from theirs?
Well I’ve got news for you – news my very laid back and very happy and content best friend once shared with me:
‘Most people are too busy thinking and worrying about their own insecurities to give your insecurities a second thought.’
If you’ve got something you’re not happy with, either:
– Take steps to change it (for example my weight 5 years ago), or
– Confidently accept and embrace it as part of who you are, and move on.
(Ie: my bent nose after my car accident, or my liking for ladies instead of men!)
Who cares? Just be you!
Your health and happiness are way more important than what others think or what you might be worrying about.
Most people don’t care what you look like or who you sleep with. Most people like (or don’t like) you because of how you act and who you are.
Treat others the way you’d like to be treated, and don’t worry about what others think (unless you know they have your best interests at heart, and really care about you, then listen and see if they can help you see through the wood to see the trees and help you be a better person).
Live your life, be who you are and be who you want to be.
Smile lots, be nice to others, be grateful, be healthy and be happy. 😀 It works for me. 🙂
