We made page 2 and 3 of the Evening Times.
I’m not sure of the name if the guy in the white at the front, but the guy in red was called Fergus, he completed his first 10k in 48:20.
Then there’s me with my pacer stick (in my yellow T-shirt) and Paul in yellow behind me. He ran with me all the way, then pushed ahead of me at the end and finished his first 10k in 49:13. 🙂
And Andy Spence in the blue and white just behind him. He ran with me all they way and finished in 49:38. All the more impressive as he’d never run faster than 9 minute miles before!
The woman in the bottom corner was called Elaine. We caught up with her at this point and she was working really hard over the last 3-4k to come in at 50:09.
🙂 It’s been great to hear from so many people I helped and I can’t wait to be able to do it (pace) again in the future!
