My Garmin is ready for the GSR!

That’s my Garmin set up ready for me pacing the Great Scottish Run 10k in 50 minutes tomorrow. 🙂

I’ll run aiming to get the average pace on the right of the screen to between 8:00-8:04 minute miles to complete it in 50 minutes. 🙂

If you want to aim to run the 10k in or around 50 minutes I’ll be in the white wave somewhere, holding a sign saying 50 min pacer. 🙂

I wonder if I’ll meet any of the people I’ve helped when I paced the women’s 10k this year and last?

Comment if you want to run with me and I’ll hopefully see you there!

If you’re looking to run the 10k in a time other than 50 minutes, there are also pacers for 45, 55 and 60 minutes.

For the half marathon there will be pacers for between 1:30 – 2:30 so keep your eye out and stick to the pacer you want to beat / chase / run with. 🙂

Good luck to anyone who is running the Great Scottish Run. Do your best and enjoy yourself. 🙂
