Wk32 into Wk33

Last week was planned out with about 3 strength workouts, 2 runs and three PT meetings with others, trying to help them achieve their goals. I had planned the weekend off to take some time out to see family.

I took a bit of a step back from my own training and spent some time helping others, which us always good (gives me a rest and a chance to get them motivated and supported to achieve their goals). Two good chatty runs with Eileen too, getting to know her.

Here’s what I did:

Mon AM: Super 8s Strength (Squats etc)
PM: Strength wi Fit Girl in the secret garden

Tue AM: 7.15M run wi Eileen
PM: PT Strength wi Super Fit Bit

Wed AM: Rest
PM: Initial PT chat

Thu AM: 8.65M wi Eileen
PM: PT chat wi Super Champ

Fri AM: Strength workout
PM: Lunchtime run

Sat AM: Rest & Visit Family
PM: Rest (2.5M walk)

Sun AM: Rest
PM: Rest

Still two relatively long runs and 4 good rest days. 🙂 I had a lovely time yesterday catching up with family and their new dog Oscar:

I feel good for having them but want to get back into my strength and running again next week. I’m squatting 51kg so I want to continue with that and not let my progress with it slip.

Next week after all this rest, I should be ready for anything. So here’s the plan (for the most I’ll do):

Mon AM: Super 8s Strength
PM: Strength or run wi Fit Girl

Tue AM: Rest (travel with work)
PM: Rest

Wed AM: Super 8s Strength
PM: Rest or run

Thu AM: Initial PT running
PM: PT run with Super Fit Bit

Fri AM: Rest (or Strength)
PM: Rest

Sat AM: Long run: 18M
PM: Rest

Sun AM: Rest
PM: Rest

Oh and I ordered the blue trainers, so they’ll be delivered next week too. 🙂 thanks for helping me choose between two truly horrible colours. ;-P
