Since I nearly broke my feet with the long walk earlier in the week, I vowed that I would rest (or swim) the rest of this week. As it happens I haven’t been for a swim but am enjoying my rest.
It’s not like me but all I’ve done is a 5 mile run on Tuesday with Kaizen Run Club and a short 20 minute run with a new running client last night. And a couple of walks to work.
Here’s what I’ve done in the last week and a bit:
SAT: 9 hrs walking
SUN: 12 hrs walking
MON: 12 hrs walking
TUE. Travel & 5 mile run KRC
WED: Rest
THU: Rest / 20 min run
FRI: Rest
SAT: Rest or run
SUN: Women’s 10k & Swim Teaching
On the WHW walk, I didn’t fast on my usual Sunday through to Monday, and today is my first fast day of the week. I’ve been looking forward to it actually. I’ll do 23 hrs today I think. 8pm last night to 7pm tonight. Fuelled by water, green tea and a protein / coffee shake.
I am thinking about my training though, I’d like to get back to my regular strength work and runs, but I’m off work again at the tail end of next week so who knows what will happen. 🙂
