1. First I decided I wanted to lose a stone in weight (my bmi was nearly 25)
2. Then I decided to start running
3. Then I decided I’d train for a 5k
4. Then i decided I’d train for a triathlon
5. Then I decided I’d try to eat more healthy
6. Then I gave up diet coke (water instead)
7. Then I decided to train for a 10k, some halfs and a marathon or two 😉
8. Then I gave up alcohol
9. Then I started to do high intenisty workouts and strength training
10. Then I learned how to eat even more healthily and fuel my exercise. 🙂
I lost around 23lbs and 9% body fat and have made exercise and healthy and balanced eating a way of life for me. Now I’m maintaining my weight and I’m the fittest, healthiest and happiest I’ve ever been. 🙂
Giving up alcohol has to be the best decision I’ve ever made: I’m healthier, have more money and I’m sober and still having fun.
What’s your best decision you’ve made to become more healthy? 🙂
Deciding to take up running. Definitely. Even before I was able to run the focus it gave me helped me a lot.
Love this post, Thinking about giving up the sauce myself.
