My Events & Challenges for 2013

My list of events and challenges are building up for 2013. I’ve not actually entered many events this year again, but I’ve got almost one thing a month planned up to May.

Here’s what I’m up to:

January:
Super 8s Strength and the start of 12 weeks Marathon Training.

February:
Continue Marathon Training, long runs on the route & Super 8s Strength.

(Also going for a trip to see my Dad at the start of Feb, and a trip to Inverness with work / to see friends at the end of Feb).

March:
Continue Super 8s Strength & Marathon Training and taper towards completing the Glasgow Marathon on Saturday 30th March.

April:
Walk the Cowal Way (56 miles) in 4 days starting Sunday 7th April.

May:
Walk the West Highland Way (96 miles) in 3 days, starting Saturday 4th May.
Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon Sunday 26th May.

I’ve got nothing else planned as of yet, but I’d like to maybe do at least one thing a month: event, walk, hill climb or run to keep things going. 🙂

And I think I’ll continue my strength work in the gym and maybe look for another half marathon or marathon event to do later in the year.
