My 7x5x5 Full Body Strength Workout

Simple, Hard, Full Body, Compound exercises.
Heavy weights, limited rest.

My 7x5x5 Full Body Strength workout consists of:
A steady 5-10 minute cardio warm up, then
7 exercises in circuit format:
5 reps of each, repeated up to 5 times. 🙂

Here’s what to do:

5-10 minutes slow and steady cardio warm up (jogging / cycling / rowing) (I’m going to do a jog around the block.)

Then: 7 exercises;
5 reps each (except for Press Ups & KB Swing: 10-20 reps);
Repeated up to 5 times;
Equipment: 1-2 x 12kg Kettlebells

1. Full Press Ups (10-20 reps)
2. Squat (2x12kg KB)
3. Clean (singles 1x12kg KB: each arm)
4. Bent Over Row (singles 1x12kg KB: each arm)
5. Shoulder Press (singles 1x12kg KB: each arm)
6. Deadlift (2x12kg KB)
7. KB Swing (10-20 reps)

A nice home workout you can do with hardly any equipment, and one which I’m sure will leave me sweating and possibly shaking. 😉

With this workout, there’s no need to bother going to the gym in the mornings and I’ll be able to avoid the busy gym full of ‘January Joiners’. 🙂
