I’m planning this with the Kaizen Runners at Kaizen Run Club tonight….100m, 200m, 300m & 400m sprints with recoveries / active recoveries:
Sprint Pyramids and Power Blasts!
5 min warm up
- 4 x 100m
- 3 x 200m
- 2 x 300m
- 1 x 400m
Recover
- 1 x 400m
- 2 x 300m
- 3 x 200m
- 4 x 100m
5 mins cool down
Run in pairs: one person sprints, as the other one does the exercises below. Do one of the following in the rest periods of the second set (and maybe the first set) of sprints:
- Quick squats
- Quick jumps / skipping
- High knees
- Butt Kicks
