Wet run, gym then yum

Last night I got caught in the sorest rain shower I’ve ever been out in. I love running in the rain but I’ve never experienced it raining so hard off my skin that it hurts.

A good 10k done with my running client. Her first and fastest run yet. 🙂 and I taught her how to rub through puddles without trying to avoid them. 😀 great fun. We were both soaked through by the end of the run. Funny funny.

This morning it was a thought getting up to go to the gym, but I did. Rest day tomorrow and I’m doing nothing tonight, do I thought I’d better get on with it.

I did legs and arms mostly: barbell squats, smith press squats, power squats, deadlifts, bent over rows, Bicep curls, calf press, leg press, more squats ;-), Tricep press, Tricep kick back, Tricep pushdowns, press ups. Lots and lots. 50 mins. 🙂

And when I got home I bought done fruit:

Then made my protein shake / smoothie for the day: spinach, banana, milk, greek yoghurt, chocolate protein Powder, creatine, green tea extract and the juice of half a lime. 🙂
