Metafit classes were launched in Glasgow Club at the start of July. I’ve been twice and I think it’s a really good and efficient workout. 🙂
Here’s a description of it:
I’d describe it as a cross between Insanity and Circuits it’s 30 minutes of quick efficient fix and hard work.
There was a warm up, then there were three rounds of pyramids of the following exercises: (12321)
1. Squat Kicks
2. Sprints (normal x4, wide x4)
3. Burpee Turns
1. Long Jumps
2. Press Up Jacks (Variation)
3. Two Step Dips
1. Floor to Sky Jumps
2. Squat Thrusts
3. Plank Variation
Then the fourth round was each exercise one after the other for 20 secs work, 10 secs rest.
Here’s my stats for the workout:
Metafit: 30 mins, Ave HR: 133 (70%), Max HR: 165 (87%), Garmin Training Effect: 3.1, Calories: 250.
