Today my blog reached 25,000 hits since I started it up in September 2010. 😀

In the last few months I’ve been getting around 100 hits a day (December was down a bit due to holidays I’m guessing) and this month is set to be my busiest month, with an average of 114 hits per day. 

The increase this month was mainly due to an influx of visitors on the 10th January when I published this post:  Getting Started 10k Training Plan 

It was shared by a number of people on Facebook and was a post inspired by a question from Alan Taylor – so thanks Alan).  Hopefully it helped a lot of people get an idea of how to get started training for a Spring / Summer 10k. 🙂

Most of the visits to my blog have been to Forearm Strain / Injury type posts, my Home Page and some gadget based themes appear high in the list too (Garmin Training Effect, Transfer Garmin to Nike+). 

And things which lots of people are interested in include, events and routes: The Olympics Torch Bearer Nominations, the M74 run/route and the Clyde Stride.

The most frequent search terms for people to get to my blog are as follows: (a lot of searches for arm muscles… lol… a post I did after I hurt my arm gardening – hardly training!  There can’t be many other web pages with inforamtion about forearm strains on the internet!)

    Well done Lorn, at this time of year so many people are looking for get fit schemes but for me the only real way it will work is if I have a target (which I do now) and hopefully thanks to your training plan I be able to do my first 10k in under an hour. Thanks.
