New Year – New You?

It’s January.  Christmas and New Year are over and it’s back to the grind.  

Do you feel that you have maybe over indugled in food or drink? Or perhaps you didn’t exercise as much as you’d liked to have in December?  (Or have you yet to start exercising!)

You might not do New Years Resolutions, or you might have decided that 2012 is the year you will change things and get fitter.  Either way, help is at hand if you want to get into the shape of your life.

Here’s some information for anyone who is just starting out, beginning your journey to health, taking up exercise for the first time, or coming back to exercise after a long break.

In the last 3 years I’ve lost around 2 stone by simply increasing my activity levels, eating sort of healthily and removing some things from my diet (ie diet coke).

For what it’s worth, I THINK running is the best form of exercise… mix it in with a bit of cross training / circuits / swimming / strength work and you’ll hopefully never look back!  😉
