The weather on Saturday morning (29th October) is meant to be pouring rain (10’C ish) … although the forecast said that last week and it didn’t rain once!
It will be my first proper run on the West Highland Way (as part of my Winter Ultra Run Challenge) and I’m planning about 12-13 miles out from Milngavie (to about Drymen) and back.
I did walk part of this route in April so I know some of it, but I bet it will look a bit different when I’m running it and it’s pouring with rain!
No doubt my feet and trainers will get wet and dirty again.
As Debbie said to me …
‘If you want to go off road you need to get used to wet and mucky feet’. 😀
Fingers crossed it all goes ok. 🙂
