Wk34 – 6k run then ‘it’s all about the POWER y’all!’

Wednesday night and I went straight to the gym to meet Fit Girl after work. I usually run outside but I decided on a nice easy treadmill run instead.

I set the treadmill at 12kph for 2km, but wasn’t really getting into it, so dropped the speed to 11kph instead. Nice and comfy. I didn’t have my iPod and wished I had it. Once I got about 15 minutes in I felt good and steady. I ran 6k in total, comfortably.

Run: 3.7M, 32 minutes, 370 calories.

After the run I went to set up our Insanity DVD workout in the function suite at Bella. Insanity Day 23: Cardio Power and Resistance. As Sean T shouts part way through: ‘It’s all about the power, y’all’.

A lot of jumping and strength work. Lovely. We worked hard and were sweating a lot by the end as usual.

1 more day of Insanity then a well earned 2 week break from it. 🙂
