Here is the first of my preparation routes for the Great Scottish Run half marathon. I conveniently live on a street which makes up part of the route, so I’ll be running from home and around part of the route this week (as my first long run of the training).
I’ll see how I get on. As you can see, the route I’m going to do, takes in some of the GSR half marathon route, but conveniently misses out the hills in Pollock Park. 😀
That’s very similar to one of my lunchtime routes 🙂 not very scenic, but gets the job done x
Yep, job done. Follows part of the GSR so the idea is when the GSR comes round I’ll know the course like the back of my hand and not get any surprises. 🙂 might get bored of the route though!! 😉 lunchtime runs? I’ve never tried that before, I usually run before work to wake me up x
