Delay tactics… when I should be swimming

I have no idea why this happens… but when I decide that I’m going to go swimming after work… I come up with excuses as to why I’m going to work late (to possibly delay – or avoid – swim training).

It’s very odd.  Tonight I was due to finish work at 5pm and there was a report I needed to finish.  I could have done it tomorrow, but I chose to stay late to complete it.  I stayed to just after 6pm.

Now, when I go to the pool, and eventually get into it, it will be about 645pm…and it will probably be more quiet at that time – but I still find it odd that I nearly always try to avoid or delay swim practice.  🙂

I don’t seem to do it with any other type of exercise and I enjoy swimming when I do it and after it.

Nevermind, I’ll get there.  2500m / 100 lengths it is tonight:

3 x 100m: FC swim, pull, kick.
1600m: 1 mile FC swim.
4 x 50m: Various kick.

As usual, I’ll let you know how I get on.  😀
