So, I’ve taken it easy this week. Not much cross training, just a double spin session and a few runs. I’ve not done circuits and I’ve not been swimming… and I’m having Thursday, Friday and Saturday as rest days.
All this tapering is in anticipation of the Balloch to Clydebank half marathon on Sunday which I’m meant to be taking part in. I’m excited about it, and looking forward to it.
But the weather appears to be turning for the worst over the weekend, so I’m concerned the race might be hard, or even worse possibly cancelled?!
The forecast for this weekend is snow on Friday night…and right through Saturday…. then snow and sleet on Sunday… ARG!!! hopefully the BBC are just being careful and forecasting the worst scenario??
