Wk28 – Friday morning gym

On Friday morning I made the effort to do my 2nd weights session of the week and got up at 6am to get to the gym for 630.
 
Weights session 2 – 50 mins – about 300 calories.
SQUAT / LUNGES – 18kg ( 4 x 8 / 4 x 16 )
INCLINE BENCH PRESS – 4 x 8 – 14kg / BENT OVER LAT RAISE – 4 x 8 – 10kg
SEATED BICEP CURL – 10kg  – 4 x 8 / BENCH DIP – 4 x 20
CUBAN PRESS – 8kg – 3 x 8 / SHRUGS – 14kg – 4 x 8
3 x 20 x 6
PRESS UP / BALL ROLL OUT / JACK KNIFE / BACK EXTENSION / RUSSIAN TWISTS (10kg) / LEAN FORWARD PLANK (30 secs).
 
Then I did a 5 minute run outside to Eminem – Lose yourself – great song to run to.  It was good going to the gym that early and getting it out of the way!  I might do it more often.  In the afternoon I drive to Inverness to see a friend and I did an 8.3 mile run on Saturday, I’ll post the details later.
