Wk24- run & BP

On Monday night it was the usual body pump… managed to get the weights just right this time…
 
I went up to the gym before hand to do a quick run, and all the treadmills were taken so I just did a run outside instead… much nicer.  12 minutes around Bella Park – probably about 1.4 mile I reckon.  It warmed me up well for body pump anyway.
 
RUN: 1.4 miles, 12 mins, 140 calories.
 
BODYPUMP
WARM UP – 5kg
SQUATS – 8.5kg
CHEST – 5kg
BACK – 7.5kg
TRICEPS – 3.5kg/3kg
BICEPS – 3.5kg
LUNGES – 2.5kg
SHOULDERS – 2.5kg
ABS
 
The tracks were different and mixed about – seemed to be the instructors favourite ones, and they were good too.  Felt it a lot on the Squat track on my back…which made me think I’m not doing it right…need to look out for that one.  Was sweating after that track anyway.
 
The tricep track was good, we did some tricpe kickbacks which I really felt me working.
 
On the shoulder track the weights (5kg) were too heavy straight away and I annoyingly had to drop them to 2.5kgs (only annoying as I was wasting time).  Managed to get through it only to give up ont he plank part of the abs bit.  ooops.  Second week in a row – must try harder!! Wink
