Thursday 11th March – gym & BB

Thursday night, I managed for the first time in 4 weeks to go to Tollcross and got to the gym then play basketball.  A cold, along with laziness and a sore foot kept me from it and I really missed it.  Really enjoyed it last night.
 
I went into the gym and ran on a treadmill for 10 mins (7.4mph), still felt it a little in my chest, but it was ok.  RUN: 10 mins, 1.2 miles, 120 calories.
 
Then went onto do 50 minutes of weights – 400 calories:
INCLINE BENCH PRESS: 3 X 10 – 12KG / SEATED LATERAL RAISE: 3 X 10 6KG
CUBAN PRESS: 2 X 10 – 6KG, 1 X 10 – 8KG / ROMANIAN DEADLIFT: 3 X 10 – 12KG
SEATED BICEP CURL: 3 X 10 – 10KG / BENCH DIPS: 3 X 20
CABLE CURL: 3 X 15 – 50LBS /  TRICEP PUSH DOWN: 3 X 15 – 60LBS
LEG PRESS / HEEL RAISE: 2 X 15 – 180LBS, 1 X 15 – 200LBS
HAMSTRING CURL: 3 X 15 – 70LBS / LATERAL PULL DOWN: 3 X 15 – 80LBS
 
Then I played an hour of basketball – 4 v 4 and unfortunately we managed to lose all three games, but I got some good passing in, defence and some good baskets too.  And perhaps most importantly, I worked very hard, running around like an idiot!!  😀  Suits me!
 
Walk to work: 130 cals
Run: 120 cals
Weights: 400
BB: 600
Total: 1250 cals.
