This week was the start of my taking Kaizen Runners Zero to 5k and I had their runs on Tuesday and Sunday, my rest days, so I changed my days about a bit and tried to fit what I wanted in where I could as opposed to having specific things on each day.
I think I got a good balance last week anyway, although I could have maybe done another run.
Here’s what I did last week:
Monday: AM: 2000m swim
Tuesday: PM: Kaizen Runners Zero to 5k Run 1
Wednesday: AM Back, Chest, Shoulders, Arms, Plyo
Thursday: Rest
Friday: 13.1M run
Saturday: (rest / swimming teaching)
Sunday: Kaizen Runners Zero to 5k Run 2 / Swimming Teaching (maybe swim)
Here’s the plan for week 25:
Monday: AM: Legs, Back, Abs
Tuesday: AM: 8M run PM: Kaizen Runners Zero to 5k Run 3
Wednesday: AM: 2000m swim
Thursday: 6M run
Friday: Rest
Saturday: AM Circuits
Sunday: AM: Kaizen Runners Zero to 5k Run 4 / Rest
It feels quite good to mix it about so I’m not doing specific things on particular days. I’m aiming for one longish run (8 miles), another run, one strength, one swim, one circuits, and two Kaizen runs.
