This last week went well… a 3 day week at work was nice… and the Jog Scotland Course on Saturday was good. Here’s what I did last week anyway:
Monday: 20 mins TRX, 40 mins circuit, 20 mind boxing; nice bank holiday walk.
Tuesday: Rest / 2 mile walk and some frisbee throwing in the park.
Wednesday: 2,000m swim with paddles.
Thursday: 6.2M run with Fit Girl
Friday: Legs, Back, Shoulders, Abs workout
Saturday: Jog Scotland course
Sunday: 8.25M recce runs and Swimming Teaching
It did feel like a bit of a busy week, especially the weekend… it flew in and before I knew it, it was Monday morning.
Here’s the plans for this week:
Monday: 2000m swim (with arm weights)
Tuesday: AM: Chest, Arms, Shoulders, Plyo
PM: 40-60 minute (walk run) leading Kaizen Runners Wk1 Run1
Wednesday: AM Rest
PM: Circuits or 5M run or rest
Thursday: 2000m swim (or run or rest)
Saturday: Circuits / workout with Fit Girl
Sunday: 40-60 minute (walk run) leading Kaizen Runners Wk1 Run2
I’m aiming for 1 or 2 rest days, I’ll see how I get on and how I feel. I might ditch the Thursday morning workout to give myself a full day of rest. I’ll just see how I feel.
I’m really looking forward to leading the Kaizen Runners for the next 6 weeks. I just need to figure out how to get a balance : fit it into my work and exercise and not over do it.
